Sarkari Shishu Paribar (State Children Home)
Sarkari Shishu Paribar (State Children Home)are managed by the Department of Social Services under the Ministry of Social Welfare for the upbringing, education, training and rehabilitation of orphaned or fatherless orphans.
Those involved in the implementation of the activities:
The institutional branch of the Department of Social Services is responsible for the management of government child families. Additional Director, Deputy Director-1, Assistant Director-1, Social Service Officer under the leadership of the Director (Institution), Supervisor / Deputy Superintendent at Headquarters level and field level are involved in the management of Government Children's Family. The Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors of the District Social Services Office supervise the field level organization and coordinate between the field level and the headquarters. There is a management committee headed by the concerned deputy commissioner for the child families established at the district level and a management committee headed by the concerned upazila executive officer for the child families established at the upazila level. The caretaker / deputy caretaker of the concerned government children's family acts as the member-secretary of the said committee. In addition, the Admission Committee of the Government Child Family headed by the Deputy Director, Department of Social Services arranges the admission of children.

Recipient:
8-9 year old orphans means poor children without fathers or fathers.
Service Center:
There are a total of 85 government children's families with 43 boys, 41 girls and 1 mixed in the district headquarters and some upazilas. Download the list of children's families.
Methods of service delivery (in short):
Parents of orphans aged 8-9 years will submit application in the prescribed form. After preparing the draft list of the applications received, the Superintendent / Deputy Superintendent called a meeting of the Admission Committee. The orphaned child is rehabilitated through feeding, education and training till the age of 18 years or taking part in the SSC examination.
Functions:
Submit the application to the concerned child family or to the district social service office in the form prescribed by the parent in December every year;
Verification of the age and health status of the applicant orphan child through the Civil Surgeon or his representative;
Final approval by the Admissions Committee
Free orphan admission;
Maintenance, education, training and rehabilitation of children in the society with appropriate dignity.
